One way to be proactive and protect yourself against this kind of fraud is to sign up to receive an email when documents are recorded under your name in the Saratoga County Clerk’s Office. This is a free service but requires signing up with an email.
The Saratoga County Clerk’s Office works with Info Quick Solutions (IQS) to provide this notification service.
